Interactive virtual sculpture based on the work “Light and Space Modulator” (1930) by the Hungarian painter, photographer, and Bauhaus professor, Laszlo Moholy Nagy who endorsed the mix of technology and contemporary industry in art and space. Ιn the initial work, the artist created a sculpture which changes its form and the way it interacts with light as the viewer walks around it. “Modulator V”, is a virtual sculpture based on “L+S Modulator”, which uses the same form tools as its predecessor and in which the viewer can walk in and around it, interact with the sculpture and move the elements that constitute it by using a keyboard and a mouse. He also leaves a colourful trail behind him thus marking his route and can enable screens to display the film L.M.Nagy did on the original sculpture of the 1930’s, in a kind of homage.
