Research & Essay (in Greek) (2000)
Presentation and analysis of the works created by the Greek painter and scholar Panayiotis Tetsis. Special stress is given on his work “the Flea Market”, an urban scale project measuring 2,50 x 50m (1979-1982). The painting depicts the flea market which takes place every Friday on Xenokratous Street outside of the painter’s house in Kolonaki, downtown Athens. It is a skilful large scale composition, full of colours, smells and sounds, which manages to depict the model’s vibrant atmosphere.
